Dead Talk Live has a new guest this week! Ivan Kavanagh, multi-award winning writer and director, best known for The Fading Light (2010), The Canal (2014), and Never Grow Old (2019). He will be joining us on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in the afternoon hours, for our podcast.
This year, 2021, saw the release of Ivan Kavanagh’s latest, and critically-acclaimed, film Son (Park Films). Ivan both wrote and directed this intense movie. It is a brilliant psychological horror film, and it stars the talented Andi Matichak and Emile Hirsch. Also of note, at the 2021 Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival, Ivan was presented with the “George Byrne Maverick Award” by the Dublin Film Critics Circle.
Ivan Kavanagh is the creator and writer on an eight-part TV crime series, The Vanishing Triangle (Park Films, MGM), and he has a number of feature film projects in the works, too.
