A trailer for Shadow and Bone Season 2 has been shown off by Netflix and shows off just what’s in store for the next part of this fantasy story. Showing off the new locations, enemies and characters. Season 2 promises to show off new action and adventure as the story continues.

The Face-Off Begins

Shadow and Bone season 2’s trailer gives us a good look into the spectacle that will occur in this next season. Old villains return with new powers and a look into the new enemies and allies the character’s will face. The trailer shows new powers displayed in action packed scenes against the threat of shadow monsters.

The party of Sun Summoner Alina Starkov, portrayed by Jessie Mei Li, and her allies now move to stop the return of General Kirigan, played by Ben Barnes. Seeking new friends, making new enemies and discovering more about the magic of the world and how to stop the threats they face.

While season 2 brings back old faces, it also brings out new ones. Four new members have been added to the cast for this season. Jack Wolfe, Lewis Tan, Anna Leong Brophy, and Patrick Gibson enter as new characters for this season. Roles showed more of their parts within the trailer itself.

Jack Wolfe plays a showcased character in the trailer as Nikolai Lantsov. A ship captain that will take the party to new places and a fan favorite from those who read the original book. Other new characters are shown off in snippets of fight scenes, giving signs of exciting action and fight scenes to come.

Shadow and Bone season 2 seems to be action packed with exciting fights showing off magic, weapons, and brutal combat. As the trailer shows characters fighting off shadow monsters, street fights, sword fights, and shoot-outs that all lead to climactic showdown between the Sun Summoner and the Darkling.

The battle between light and shadow comes to a climax with many moving parts that are sure to keep things exciting. Season 2 of Shadow and Bone comes to Netflix on March 16th, 2023.
