The following cast returns for this phenomenal film. Actor/producer and now director Michael B. Jordan was born on February 9, 1987, in Santa Ana, California, and was raised in Newark, New Jersey. He is the son of Donna and Michael A. Jordan. The actor has starred in three of the most critically acclaimed television dramas of the past decade. Jordan played in HBO’s dramatic hit series The Wire (2002), starred as a quarterback on Friday Night Lights (2006), and played a recovering alcoholic on NBC’s Parenthood (2010).
Michael’s first major leading film role came when he starred as Oscar Grant in Fruitvale Station (2013). The film’s cast included actress/producer/director Octavia Spencer and actress/producer Melonie Diaz and was produced by Forest Whitaker. The film premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, where it received the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award for U.S. Dramatic Film.
Creed III is the third film in the Creed trilogy, the first being Creed, a 2015 American sports drama directed by Ryan Coogler, who co-wrote the screenplay with Aaron Covington and featured Sylvester Stalone as the retired champ Rocky Balboa. All Def Movie Award-winning Actor Jordan returned in his leading role in Creed II on November 2018, where he faced the son of Rocky’s old nemesis Ivan Drago.
