Dead Talk Media, a film/TV production and distribution studio, and writer/director Anthony Orlando has launched a crowdfunding campaign for his directorial debut, The Shadows, on Seed and Spark. In this supernatural horror, a young man must overcome his own neuroses to help find his kidnapped sister with help from family and friends. A string of bizarre murders and a mysterious entity is only the beginning of the terrors stalking this group as they unravel her disappearance and their town’s dark history. The Shadows promises to be a “horror/thriller ride like never before”.

The Shadows has already made quite the impression at various film festivals. The screenplay was a semi-finalist in the MidWest WeirdFest, a quarter-finalist in the ISA Horror & Thriller Genre-Busting Screenplay Competition as well as being named an official selection at the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards and twice in the Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards.
