Though it’s so far a PS5 exclusive, it seems inevitable that it will come to other platforms, given how big of a rerelease this is. It also says it’s “Volume 1” so maybe we’ll be getting Peace Walker and possibly even Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which has been stuck on PS3, in a future volume.
It Gets Better
As for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, it seems to be a from the ground up remake in the same vein as the Resident Evil remakes and Konami’s own upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake. From the looks of the photos that we’ve provided from Konami’s website, the graphics seem to have gotten a big overall but still manage to retain a lot of the original game’s look. Fans were worried that the original cast might not be returning, but Konami confirmed that they would be. David Hayter will finally be returning to the series as Snake as he was left out of Metal Gear Solid 5 with Kiefer Sutherland taking over.
Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 will be released this Fall on PlayStation 5. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has yet to get a release date and will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and Steam.
