Taylor Is Headed To A Theater Near You
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is a love letter celebrating the ten studio albums featuring a variety of music styles like country, pop, folk, and rock in her 19-year career as a musician. The show spans just over three hours and has a set list of 44 songs, marking her journey from the beginning of her career to the present day. Since its announcement in November 2022, it has broken the record for the world’s highest-grossed concert, reaching $300,804,808 as of today. So far, Swift has toured most of the United States and Mexico and plans to go international starting in November of this year. But soon, there will be an easier way to view the performance before it concludes on November 23, 2024.
The Show Must Go On
Fans from all over the world have been relentless in attending the once-in-a-lifetime show, making obtaining a ticket nearly impossible. Websites would crash, tickets sell out in seconds, or it was simply too costly to attend. But for fans who have not been so lucky to watch the performance live, there may be yet another way to enjoy the experience.

On Thursday, August 31st, Taylor Swift announced via social media that a concert film of the Eras Tour will be coming to theaters. “The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far, and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon,” Swift said on Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly known as Twitter). Directed by Sam Wrench, the film will offer a virtual breathtaking view of the tour that received critical acclaim and cultural impact for a much more affordable price. “Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing, and dancing encouraged.”
When and Where to Watch
The film is expected to hit theaters in North America starting October 13th and will have a runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes. It will be distributed to popular theater chains, including Regal, AMC, and Cinemark, only on weekends until November 5. Advanced tickets are now on sale at $13.13 plus tax for children and seniors and $19.89 for adults plus tax. Movie passes will not be permitted.
