The War Begins In ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2 Teaser

In 'House of the Dragon,' George R.R. Martin’s prequel continues on screen for what will be a bloody good time.

New Inside Looks for the ‘Game of Thrones’ Bloodthirsty Prequel

HBO’s hit fantasy drama resumes George R.R. Martin’s Fire and Blood novel with a second season as announced at CCXP23 (Comic Con Experience) in São Paulo, Brazil. New characters, new locations, and new bloodthirsty action are to be continued.

The Prequel

Originally published on November 20th, 2018, George R.R. Martin’s prequel to his Game of Thrones series made quite a stir for fans of both his literature as well as the HBO series of the same name. Set 172 years before the globally popular book series, Fire and Blood follows the House of Targaryen and the events that shape the Kingdom of Westeros.

Following the mass success of HBO’s Game of Thrones television series, it only made sense for them to continue the world-building by creating a series to follow Martin’s prequel. House of the Dragon aired on August 21st, 2022, with a first episode that shocked, delighted, and horrified long-lasting fans of the fantasy genre. Where Season 1 left off with a brutal dragon death that will separate families further, Season 2 will allegedly continue the following of Martin’s novel.
