Trailer For The Final Season Of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’

Curb Your Enthusiasm Main

Larry David Is Back For One Last Ride

Curb Your Enthusiasm is a landmark of snarky black comedy sitcoms and now one of the longest-running sitcoms of all time (the first season dates back to October 2000). Sadly, all good things must end – the show’s 12th and final season is coming this February, and Max just revealed its very first trailer.

Everything Fans Have Ever Loved About The Series

It’s truly amazing that, after 12 seasons, it doesn’t look like Curb Your Enthusiasm is losing any charm. This first trailer for the final season captures everything that made the series iconic – the irreverent jokes, the cutthroat black humor, and Larry David’s signature misanthropy. In this trailer, David has his way of upsetting his manager and best friend, Jeff (Jeff Garlin), and his wife, Susie (Susie Essman). As the trailer invites viewers to cherish the show’s long run with the slogan “Don’t be mad he’s leaving, be mad he stayed so long,” we can get glimpses of some of the jokes, along with more surreal situations Larry David will get into. The trailer ends with David stating, “I really did the best under the circumstances, as a person who hates people yet has to be amongst them.” A timeless quote that encapsulates his character as well as the show’s cynical philosophy.

Who Else Is Back?

From this two-minute trailer, fans can already get an idea of what beloved characters will return, and it looks like almost everyone is. Other than the already-mentioned Jeff and Susie, David will also meet again his ex-wife Cheryl (Cheryl Hines) and her boyfriend Ted (Ted Danson). Leon (J.B. Smoove) and Richard (Richard Lewis) are also back, with the latter having an intimate conversation with his friend Larry. Irma Kostroski, City Councilwoman (Tracy Ullman), shares a hilarious exchange about Larry’s potentially growing breasts. Vince Vaughn is also returning as Freddy Funkhouser, the half-brother of Marty Funkhouser (Bob Einstein), and Dan Levy can be seen in a brief cameo.

Enjoy the over-the-top new trailer of the final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and get ready for its release on February 4.
