Unfortunate Souls Are Stuck With A Spider Monster

Typically, friends employed by Terminix, eager to showcase their fantastic exterminator work, share photos of horrific spider infestations. However, in today’s case, a bug-hating friend isn’t spotlighting a spider invasion; instead, Sting’s horror film publicity team is releasing nightmare-inducing images.

New photos feature unfortunate souls who are stuck with a harrowing spider monster. The images harken back to Indiana Jones in the pit of asps in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Sure, those were “very dangerous” snakes and not spiders, but seeing humans amongst our terrifying brethren is unsettling.

According to BloodyDisgusting, Kiah Roache-Turner helms the project as writer/director and gifts the audience a bunch of spider-filled madness, promising an adventure with practical effects and an eight-legged beast. The eight legs are not surprising, as it’s common knowledge that our arachnid friends have that many. If they have fewer legs, it means they’ve engaged in an intense battle but crawled away with dignity.

A Bloodthirsty Appetite

The plot centers on Charlotte (Alyla Browne), a 12-year-old comic book enthusiast. When she discovers an egg that hatches into a spider named Sting, she hides her newfound pet from her family. As Sting develops a bloodthirsty appetite, Charlotte can no longer shield her beloved arachnid from others and realizes she is the only one equipped to take on the monster.

Further acting talent joining Browne includes Ryan Corr (House of the Dragon), Penelope Mitchell (Hellboy), Robyn Nevin (Relic), Noni Hazlehurst (The End), and finally, Jermaine Fowler (The Blackening).

IMDb reports a robust producing team. The executive producers are Will Gammon, Mark Gooder, Diana Le Dean, Martin Metz, Doris Pfardrescher, Adrian Politowski, Josh Pomeranz, and Alison Thompson. In addition, the producers are Chris Brown, Jamie Hilton, and Michael Pontin. Lastly, Jessy Rolleston Palmer acts as a production executive.
