im Carrey has been confirmed to return for Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Although the series gave quite the ambiguous ending with the last film, where much of the audience thought that Dr. Robotnik died after his tragic fall, the post-credit scene confirmed the possibility of his survival, while the recent announcement of his return for the third film confirmed it even more.

Carrey, represented by WME, will not be the only one making a return in the upcoming film. Jeff Fowler is also confirmed to return as the director, with Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, Toru Nakahara, and Hitoshi Okuno producing the film.

Carrey’s Credits

The Canadian-American actor is a face that fans have known and loved for years. He first gained recognition through his performance in the television series In Living Color (1990-1994). He then took off in Hollywood with his appearances in Liar Liar (1997), Dumb and Dumber (1994), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), A Christmas Carol (2009), and many more. Carrey received Golden Globe Awards for his role as Truman Banks in The Truman Show (1998) and as Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon (1999). He was additionally nominated for a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe for his role as Joel Barish in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004).
