Riley’s Emotions Get A New Addition In The ‘Inside Out 2’ Teaser

A new teaser trailer for ‘Inside Out 2’ gives hints at Riley’s hockey game and emphasizes the new emotion moving in. "Inside Out 2" stars Amy Poehler as Joy, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, Liza Lapira as Disgust, and Phyllis Smith as Sadness.

One of the most highly anticipated sequels for Disney movies, Inside Out 2, has just released a new teaser trailer with more information about the upcoming film. The teaser may be short, but it still hooks its viewers.

Anxiety’s Moving In

In Pixar’s first trailer, Headquarters is getting remodeled. The construction workers are adding new buttons to the newly orange console. This is because anxiety is moving into Riley’s head. It was hard enough for Joy to adjust to not being in full control, so with a new emotion becoming her new roommate, it’s hard to say how Joy will react to the outsider. This is because she wants Riley to be happy all the time, as shown in the first movie. Joy has grown more accustomed to giving her fellow emotions more control, assumingly, based on this new teaser trailer. However, that was before Anxiety entered the picture. The film will star the iconic voices of Maya Hawke (Stranger Things) as Anxiety, Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation) as Joy, Phillis Smith (The OA) as Sadness, Lewis Black (Man of the Year) as Anger, Tony Hale (Veep) as Fear, and Liza Lapira (Must Love Christmas) as Disgust so this sequel will certainly not be one to miss.

Anxiety is the Star in This New Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer shows each one of the emotions helping Riley through playing hockey. Riley feels joy, anger, fear, disgust, and sadness while playing her favorite sport. Then, the teaser shows a clip from the first trailer where Joy notices the console is orange, and then Anxiety introduces herself. The trailers and teasers have yet to introduce the movie’s audience to the other emotions believed to be joining Anxiety among the other roommates in Riley’s brain. Anxiety references other emotions that came with her, as mentioned in the original trailer. Furthermore, these other emotions can be seen peeking in from below on the film’s poster. The film is directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen.

Stay tuned for more information and possibly introductions to more emotions. Make sure to catch Inside Out 2 in theaters on June 14th.
