A Brooklyn Couple Finds Themselves Trapped In a Spiritual-Horror Test Of Survival In The Trailer For ‘The Woods Are Real’

‘The Woods Are Real’: An Overview

The trailer for The Woods Are Real, a spiritual horror film, has just been released. The film will be released by film distributor Gravitas Ventures, who has also produced films such as For The Love of Spock (2016) and Almost Friends (2016). The film stars Matt Dellapina, Campbell Scott, Chinasa Ogbuagu, Nick Westrate, Jeffrey Omura, Kathleen McElfresh, Teresa Avia Lim, Laura Esposito, Tasha Milkman, Eli Hanson, Rebecca J. Sawchuk, Nicole M. DeLuca, and will be directed by Alix Lambert.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the film centers on a Brooklyn Couple, Joba and Quincy, who are ethical and moral people donating to charities and attending to current events and causes. However, their lives quickly take a turn when their friend Caleb returns from a pilgrimage challenging their beliefs. When they decide to see what Caleb has experienced, they find themselves in the woods, as the trailer suggests, with a cabin consisting of analog items. They eventually learn that their bank accounts have been drained back in their hometown, and their lives are collapsing personally and professionally. They find themselves on a journey for survival amidst all the chaos– all catalyzed by the woods.
