‘Sweet Tooth’ Final Season Trailer Reveals the Fight of a Lifetime

Will Gus Find Which Came First: The Hybrids Or The Sick?

The popular fantasy drama Sweet Tooth is coming to an end on streaming giant Netflix. The first official trailer for the third and final season was released on May 21, a little over two weeks before the premiere on June 6.

Gus’ Fight to Save Humanity

Based on the DC comic book series by Jeff Lemire, Season 3 will see Gus, a part deer, part boy hybrid (Christian Convery), and his crew consisting of Jepperd (Nonso Anozie), Becky (Stefania LaVie Owen) and Wendy (Naldei Murray) as they search for Gus’ mother Birdie.

She has been working in Alaska to uncover how the hybrids and the sick came to be. Dr. Singh (Adeel Akhtar) joins them on the way to Alaska. He believes that Gus may be the key to reversing the sick virus that has killed most of humanity, as he is the first hybrid.

While they embark on their journey, they are faced with new threats, such as Helen Zhang (Rosalind Chao, her daughter Rosie (Kelly Marie Tran), and the Wolf Boys, who all want to restart human birth by using Gus in their plans to restart the world.

The evil duo plans to eliminate all hybrids as well. As they navigate a way to find Birdie, Gus is joined in Alaska by some new faces, including Siana (Cara Gee) and her daughter Nuka (Ayazhan Dalabayeva), who is also a hybrid. As shown in this season’s trailer, the fate of humanity versus hybrids will be determined through a thrilling climax.

Who is Returning and Who is New?

Showrunner Jim Mickle is returning for the final season, and Susan Downey, Robert Downey Jr., Amanda Burrell, and Linda Moran are serving as executive producers.

Evan Moore serves as co-executive producer. Returning for the final season are cast members Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Stefania LaVie Owenm, Naledi Murray, Amy Seimetz, Adeel Akhtar, and Rosalind Chao.

New faces joining the cast include Kelly Marie Tran, who will play Hele Zhang’s daughter Rosie; Cara Gee, who will play Siana; and Ayazhan Dalabayeva, who will play her daughter Nuka. Sweet Tooth is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Netflix. Season 3 will premiere on June 6.
