Fallout Event And Bundle For TF 141

COD x Fallout

“Call of Duty” is a long-lasting first-person shooter franchise with a variety of characters from different games and game reboots. “Fallout” is a role-playing game (rpg) franchise with each one having self-contained stories and characters. With the recent announcement of the crossover between the franchises, what can be expected?

Activision Confirms Crossover and Release Date

Activision has recently announced the crossover between the “Call of Duty” and “Fallout” franchises, both of which are owned by Microsoft. In this crossover, players will get to see Task Force 141 members Ghost, Soap, Price, and Gaz from the “Modern Warfare” reboot series dressed in Vault Dweller skins from the “Fallout” franchise. The in-game event — “Fallout: Vault Dwellers” — will go live on its release date, June 20, 2024. The event will go live from 10am PT on June 20 until 8am PT on June 26. The Tracer Pack: Fallout Vault Dweller Bundle for the event will include two new “Fallout”-themed weapon blueprints that feature a V.A.T.S. Death Effect, Vault-Tec Tracers, and more.

The In-Game Fallout: Vault Dwellers Event

In the Fallout: Vault Dwellers Event, players will deploy as either vault dweller Soap, Ghost, Gaz, or Price from Vault 141 for three games: “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III,” “Call of Duty: Warzone,” and “Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.” The event also features various challenges in Multiplayer, Zombie, and Warzone. The four characters from Task Force 141 vault dwellers will gain an additional XP boost when equipped with the Vault Dwellers Skin during the event and will have the opportunity to earn an assortment of “Fallout”-themed cosmetic items. Some of these cosmetics include: “Nuka-Cola” charm, “Nuka-Cola Quantum” Weapon Camo, “Nuka-Cola Caps” emblem, “Slocum’s Joe” sticker, and “New California Republic” large decal.

The Tracer Pack: Fallout Vault Bundle

The Tracer Pack: Fallout Vault Bundle contains a special skin for each character, six loading screens, and “Fallout”-themed cosmetics. The special skin “Vault 141” Operator Skins can be equipped by Price, Ghost, Gaz, and Soap. The six new loading screens are “Vault 141,” “Survivor’s Journey,” “Sanctuary Hills,” “Restoring Democracy,” “Please Stand By,” and “Nuka-Cola.” Finally, the “Fallout”-themed cosmetics include: “Vault-Tec Engineer” emblem, “Wasteland Workshop” calling card, “Atomic Disintegrator” HRM-9 weapon blueprint, “Vault-Tec Approved” M16 weapon blueprint, “You’re Special” large decal, “Nuka-Cola Spacer” sticker, “Fatman” charm, and “Let’s Do This!” charm.

The “Atomic Disintegrator” HRM-9 weapon blueprint is best for sustained combat fights in close quarters and contains a 50 Round Drum Magazine, improved accuracy and recoil control, extended range, and thermal target identification. This SGM configuration is perfect for sights that aim down and have the ability to compete out to mid-range. The “Vault Tec Approved” M16 weapon blueprint is the ideal weapon for laser killing enemies from a distance due to its improving handling and recoil control attachments and 45 Round Mag. This blueprint also contains two Aftermarket Parts: the JAK Patriot Conversion Kit that has superior recoil control and firing aim stability alongside the ability to transform the M16 into a fully automatic rifle, and the JAK Cutthroat Stock, which combines speed and stability when aiming down sights.

Characters Crossover

On the official “Call of Duty” blog, there is an excerpt that gives insight into the crossover between the “Call of Duty” and “Fallout” Characters. The excerpt is an intercepted missive from Edward Deegan (William Holmes) to Jack Cabot (Jonathan Roumie) from “Fallout 4.” Deegan is a ghoul (a post-human mutated by radiation) who belongs to and works for the Cabot family. Jack Cabot is a scientist who devotes his studies to an alien artifact that leads to the development of a mysterious serum.

In the intercepted message, Deegan reports on his tracking of four individuals from Vault 141. He described Price (Barry Sloan) as the team’s “gruff” leader with a “wicked shot.” He also believes that Price might be the Overseer. Gaz (Elliot Knight) is recognized as Price’s “moody” right-hand man who is “tasty” with a pistol. After seeing the “quiet type” called Ghost (Samuel Roukin), Deegan mentions that he might also be a ghoul because of his “strange face.” This misconception is likely due to Ghost’s skull designed balaclava. Deegan lastly reports on Soap (Neil Ellice), whom he describes as a “Scottish fellow” and “shorter chap” compared to Ghost. Deegan also notes that he wonders “how a mole rat like him passed selection,” which parallels the original Price’s line, “How’d a muppet like you pass selection?” when he first meets Soap. The message ends with Deegan asking Cabot if they should arrange to meet possible vault escapees.
