‘Halo’ Star To Play Benedict’s Love Interest

After the success of the first three seasons of Netflix’s regency drama Bridgerton, fans have been waiting to see who Season 4 will be about. In July, it was revealed that Season 4 will follow the novel “An Offer from a Gentleman” and tell Benedict Bridgerton’s love story. Fans have received exciting news that Netflix has cast the role of Benedict’s love interest Sophie Beckett.

Season 4 will be based on the third book of the Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton book series. “An Offer From A Gentleman” tells the story of Benedict Bridgerton as he finds love at a masquerade ball and Sophie Beckett, his love interest, who becomes a lady’s maid at the Bridgerton home when their love blossoms. Benedict has been in the television adaptation since Season 1 and the show has now cast his love interest Sophie.

Netflix and Shondaland, who have partnered together for the show, have announced that Yerin Ha will be playing Sophie in Season 4. No other details about the new season has been announced yet besides casting information which states that most of the cast members will be back for Season 4.

What Has Yerin Ha Been In?

With Yerin Ha cast as Sophie, the Korean-Australian actress has recently been in many projects appearing in the Paramount + series Halo, based on the popular shooter game, as Kwan. She is very vocal about Asian representation on-screen during her time as an actress. Ha has also been in television shows like Bad Behavior as Alice, Troppo as Ah Rah, Reef Break as Technie Jane, and 2024’s Dune: Prophecy as Young Kasha. Ha is determined to make Bridgerton fans satisfied with her portrayal of Sophie Beckett in Season 4. It has not been revealed when Ha will make her debut as Sophie in Bridgerton.

‘Bridgerton’: A Synopsis

Bridgerton is a British historical romance series that is based on the books by Julia Quinn. It is produced by Netflix and Shondaland. The series is set during the 1800s in Regency era London for the highly competitive social season, which is when young debutants are introduced into society and get married. The show focuses on the eight siblings of a noble family called the Bridgerton and their love lives as they get married to their soulmates. Each season takes focus on one sibling as the first three seasons took focus on Daphne, Anthony, and Colin respectively while Season 4 has been announced to focus on the second son Benedict.
