‘The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City’ Season 5 Cast and Trailer

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Official Bravo Sneak Peek

Five Seasons in and the Ice is Still Solid

With winter on the horizon, that means that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are rapidly approaching. The trailer for Season 5 has been released, and a premiere date has been set for September 18 at 9 PM EST.

The Plot

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City follows the lives of a group of affluent women living in Salt Lake City, Utah, offering a unique glimpse into their glamorous lifestyles, personal dramas, and complex relationships. The show delves into the intersection of religion, particularly the influence of Mormonism, and the pressures of maintaining appearances in a tight-knit community. Since its debut, the series has explored themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the challenges of balancing personal values with social expectations. Now at five seasons, the show has seen cast shakeups, dramatic confrontations, and storylines that have captivated viewers, including legal troubles and evolving friendships, solidifying its place in the larger Real Housewives franchise.

What is to Come This Season

The upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is bringing back familiar faces and introducing fresh new dynamics to the group. Returning to the main cast are Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, and Whitney Rose. Additionally, original cast member Mary Cosby, who rejoined last season as a “friend of,” has been promoted to a full-time Housewife, showcasing even more drama and intrigue.

Joining the cast this season is Bronwyn Newport, a close friend of Lisa Barlow, who steps into the spotlight with her own snowflake. Newport is known for her impeccable fashion sense and her sharp wit, described by Bravo as “a sense of humor as sharp as the diamonds she wears.”

This season also introduces two new “friends” to the group, Britani Bateman and Meili Workman. Bateman, a Utah native and practicing Mormon, is a multi-talented woman with a career in real estate development, acting, and singing. She enters the show through her friendship with Heather Gay but quickly finds herself clashing with some of the other ladies. Bateman’s on-again, off-again relationship and strong personality are sure to add another layer of excitement to the already dynamic mix of personalities on RHOSLC.

Meili Workman, a close friend of Whitney Rose, brings her own brand of energy to the show. A model and mother of four, Meili juggles her busy life in Utah with grace. Originally from California and raised in the LDS church, she moved to Utah to deepen her involvement in the faith, only to ultimately choose a different path, adding yet another layer of complexity to her story. With such a dynamic mix of returning favorites and intriguing newcomers, this season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has what it takes to deliver unforgettable moments and high-stakes drama that fans won’t want to miss.
