Sabrina Carpenter Will Have ‘A Nonsense Christmas’ At Netflix

A Short And Sweet Holiday Special

Based on the song ‘Nonsense’ from her album Emails I Can’t Send, pop music’s newest star, Sabrina Carpenter will be hosting a holiday variety special on Netflix titled A Nonsense Christmas. As the word spreads quickly about the short and sweet celebrity’s latest small-screen appearance, fans are eager to know what the program will entail.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Fame Trajectory

Sabrina Carpenter, born May 11, 1999, has built a successful career in the short time she’s been in the industry. Furthermore, the YouTuber received her first big break at twelve years old by providing music and voice-acting for the Disney animated series Sofia the First. Just a year after her role in Disney’s Girl Meets World, she launched her music career which has led to opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, winning numerous prestigious awards, and performing live at the 2024 VMAs. Now, she is making a return to television in her new Netflix special produced by OBB Pictures and At Last Productions.

Additionally, a September 19, 2024 Netflix article explains that the newest business venture, “…will showcase pop icon Carpenter performing songs from her holiday EP fruitcake and other chart-topping holiday covers, and feature guest performing artists, comedic cameos, and unexpected duets. No confirmation on whether Santa Claus will make an appearance, but fans can count on their No. 1 SC to be there with bells on.”

Christmas On The Small Screen

It’s never too early to start celebrating the holidays and Carpenter’s new special sounds like a fresh and exciting showcase of Christmas cheer. Moreover, executive producer and founder of OBB Media, Michael D. Ratner had this to say to Netflix, “Sabrina’s vision to subvert the classic holiday special has been clear since day one. At OBB, we partner with the world’s most captivating artists to reimagine the expected, and we’re proud of the work by our entire team and want to highlight Simone Spira, the Volara team, Sam Wrench, Nikki Boella, and all involved that brought Sabrina’s vision to life on Netflix.” Unfortunately, there is no news yet on what guests may appear in the special.

A Nonsense Christmas is set to premiere on December 6, 2024, at 9 pm EST. Until then, fans can listen to Carpenter’s newest album Short n’ Sweet on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube music.
