‘Final Destination 6’ Trailer Teases a One-of-a-Kind Death

Piercing Kill May Have Fans Removing Theirs Before Watching

After 14 years, Final Destination returns with Final Destination: Bloodlines. The film will be released this year, and Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled a new teaser trailer on YouTube. The trailer showcases a unique kill involving a nose piercing and fire.

What is ‘Final Destination?’

According to Variety, Final Destination first hit theaters in the early 2000s, launching a franchise that has since grossed nearly $700 million worldwide. So far, there are five films, with the sixth installment set to release this year. The series follows groups of young individuals who miraculously cheat death—whether escaping a plane crash, a roller coaster disaster, or other fatal accidents. However, their survival is short-lived as death itself comes for them, manifesting through eerie supernatural events that lead to gruesome and inevitable fates. While the fifth film initially seemed like the franchise’s conclusion, its shocking twist revealed it was a prequel. As for Final Destination 6, it’s still unclear whether it will serve as a direct sequel to the previous films or a full reboot of the franchise. While plot details remain under wraps, the trailer hints at even more gruesome omens and brutal deaths.

Final Destination 6 Cast & Directors

A new trailer for Final Destination 6 has been released, giving audiences a glimpse of the gruesome kills awaiting them. The scene features a tattoo artist whose nose piercing gets caught in a ceiling fan while a fire rages beneath him, leaving him desperately trying to free himself as the fan pulls upward. Thanks to Variety, the film’s cast has also been revealed. It includes Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Teo Briones (Chucky), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Flash), Richard Harmon (The 100), Owen Patrick Joyner (Julie and the Phantoms), Anna Lore (Gotham Knights), Max Lloyd-Jones (The Book of Boba Fett), Rya Kihlstedt (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Tinpo Lee (The Manor).  Additionally, the late Tony Todd (Candyman), who sadly passed away in 2024, reprised his iconic role as Bludworth one final time. The film is directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, who worked together on 2018’s Freaks and Kim Possible. This film will mark their debut in the Final Destination franchise.
