The playable characters will interact with an open world where players can go fishing, boxing, hunting, clubbing, skeeing, work out on the beach, etc. The roaring cars are stuck in traffic, planes fly above the cities, while busy crowds act below. Extreme damage and missions are available to take on in the new characters’ perspectives with upgraded weapons. The trailer also reveals hidden details that can be spotted throughout the trailer, like NPCs’ houses and apartments can be seen with the lights on, and shadows and the lighting come naturally in the gameplay. Even the texture of the characters’ hair moves so freely compared to real life.

Rockstar Games created the Grand Theft Auto franchise in 1997. Rockstar game developers are perfecting and polishing GTA 6, despite resetting the date to May 2026. Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be available on PlayStation and Xbox Series consoles in May 2026.
