Netflix Releases ‘Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson’ Trailer

Boxing Legend Takes on YouTube Star in Epic Showdown

After months of anticipation, boxing legend Mike Tyson and YouTube star Jake Paul are finally stepping into the ring to see who will be the last one standing.

The Fight of the Century

Netflix released an exciting new trailer for the highly anticipated showdown between Jake Paul, also known as “El Gallo,” and boxing icon Mike Tyson, famously dubbed the “Baddest Man on the Planet.” Paul, who has been wrestling for a few years, is shown delivering powerful blows to his opponents, while Tyson’s reputation for knocking out challengers in the first round is showcased with clips from his legendary career. Samuel L. Jackson narrates the trailer, stating, “There’s never been a night this big” and calling it “the fight the world’s been waiting for.”

The bout, which promises to be one of the most talked-about sporting events of the year, will be streamed live on Netflix, giving subscribers a front-row seat to the action. In addition to the live stream, Netflix is selling tickets to fill the massive 80,000-seat arena in Arlington, Texas, making this not just a global broadcast event but also a huge live spectacle.

‘Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson’: Fight and Documentary Event

Netflix, in partnership with Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, is set to produce the highly anticipated fight between Paul and Tyson. Leading up to the event, a three-part companion documentary series will be released, with the first two episodes premiering on November 7 and the final episode dropping on November 12, just before the big showdown. Both the documentary and the fight will be available on Netflix, with plans to eventually stream on HBO, Showtime, and pay-per-view platforms.

In a cover story with The Hollywood Reporter, Paul estimated that this fight could attract 25 million viewers, potentially making it the most-watched boxing match in history. Gabe Spitzer, a VP at Netflix Sports, remarked, “For Mike Tyson, this is his opportunity for redemption.” Nakisa Bidarian, Paul’s manager and former UFC chief financial officer, added, “If Mike Tyson at 58 comes back and knocks out Jake Paul, he’ll be revered for the rest of his days. He put an end to this YouTuber’s reign. Now, if Jake does knock out Mike Tyson, sure, there will be a lot of people who are mad. But there’s also going to be a lot more opportunities for him in the world of boxing.”
