First Look at Netflix’s ‘Sirens’

A Female-driven, Dark Comedy Series

Netflix has revealed the premiere date and some first-look images of Sirens. The five-episode limited series will hit Netflix user’s screens on May 22.

Cast and Premise

Created by Molly Smith Metzler and executive produced by LuckyChap, Sirens is a female-driven, dark comedy set to premiere on Netflix. The limited series will feature five episodes. Sirens stars Julianne Moore (The Room Next Door) as Michaela, Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) as Devon, and Milly Alcock (House of the Dragons) as Simone. The series will also feature Kevin Bacon, Glenn Howerton, Bill Camp, and Felix Solis.

According to Deadline, “the series is an adaptation of Metzler’s Play Elemeno Pea that centers on Devon, who thinks her sister Simone has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. When Devon tracks her sister down to say WTF, she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be.”

The series will be told over the course of a weekend at The Kells’ beach estate.

A First Look and Release Date

As the premiere date approaches, new images have been dropped for the first series of Metzler’s partnership with Netflix. Netflix has released six images from the show that can be viewed here. The six images feature the cast in various scenes. One includes Alcock standing in front of a line of maids. Moore is featured in one image as her character is donned in a white dress as she stands in front of a music stand. Another features her character adoringly petting a bird on a stand. One image suggests the dark secrets the series may contain, as Fahy’s character speaks to Solis’ who holds a shovel with his hand up in a shushing motion. There may be some dark secrets buried within the series.
